ONA CYRUS Funeral services for Mrs. Ona Cyrus of Wichita, Kans., were held at 10:00 a.m. Monday in the First Baptist church here of which she was a member. She died Friday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. C.B. Greenfield, in Wichita, Kans., where she had made her home since leaving Cyril in 1942. The service was conducted by Rev. Frank Jennings, assisted by Rev. J.C. Earl. Burial was in the IOOF cemetery at Cement. Mrs. Cyrus was born March 24, 1876 in Wayne county, West Virginia, and came to Cyril with her husband, Oliver Cyrus in 1907. Mr. Cyrus died in 1944. Also preceding her were one daughter and three sons, Linzy, Walter, Delbert and Ollie. Surviving her are five daughters, three sons, 22 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Woodrow and Clyde Cyrus of Anadarko; Gene Cyrus and Jack Davis of Wichita, Kans., Jack Roberts, Dick Brooks and R.L Brooks. --------------------------------------------------------------------
