Johnson St., died today (6-15- 1960) in Norman Municipal Hospital after an extended illness. He was born November 16, 1886 in Tioga, Texas and moved to Norman from Fort Cobb in 1918. He retired eight years ago as custodian at OU. He was a member of the Central Church of Christ. Services will be a 2 p.m. Thursday at the Central Church of Christ, Meyer and Meyer Funeral Home announced. Services will be conducted by Tom Dixon and Paul Johnson, Interment will be in the IOOF Cemetery. Survivors include his wife Vena of the home; three daughters, Bernice Lamirand, northeast of Norman, Esta Mae Underwood, 1429 Oakwood Drive, Avus Fore, Somervell, Texas; a sister Fay Taylor, and a brother Encell, both of Modesto, California.Seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
