Davis June 15, 2000 Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday 18-Jun-2000 at the First Baptist Church of Apache for Mary M. Davis, 90, of Apache, who died 15-Jun-2000 in Lawton, Ok. Burial will be in Apache's Fairview Cemetery under the direction of the Crews Funeral Home of Apache. Mrs. Davis was born 27-Feb-1910 in Jones County, Texas. She married Thomas Porter Davis 18-Jun-1928 in Cordell, Washita County, Ok. She and her family moved from Texas to Oklahoma and lived in the Stecker-Broxton area. They moved to a farm north of Fort Cobb. She was employed as a cook for the Boone School, Apache High School and the Apache Senior Nutrition Center. She was a member of the Boone Home Demonstration Club and the First Baptist Church in Apache. Preceding her in death were her husband, 14-Apr-1981; her parents; six brothers; and four sisters. Survivors include two sons, one daughter, eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and one brother. --------------------------------------------------------------------
