All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Lawton Constitution 8 Mar 2003 Evelyn "Angel" Davis-Willis APACHE — Funeral for Evelyn "Angel" Davis-Willis, 61, Apache, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Comanche Nation Funeral Home with the Rev. Bill Hornbeck officiating. Mrs. Willis died Friday, March 7, 2003, in a local hospital. Burial will be at Fort Sill Post Oak Cemetery under direction of Comanche Nation Funeral Home. She was born May 14, 1941, to John Davis and Gertrude Hornbeck. She was co-owner of Ganns Cleaners. She worked at ABC Bail Bonds for many years before opening Angel’s Bail Bonds. She also worked many years at the Battered Women’s Shelter. Survivors include a son, Richard N. Smith; two daughters: Tammy L. Smith; and Edna R. Newsom and her husband, Johnny; four grandchildren; two great- grandchildren; three sisters: Patsy Davis; Jeannie Ray; and Sandra Devinney; and special friends, Alene Torres; Ellen and Shawn Barnhart; and Bernice Hampton. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Guy Willis; a sister, Donna K. Davis; and a niece, Shavonda K. Ingle.
