Graveside services were held 10-Dec-1999 in Binger's Murray Cemetery under the direction of Stephens Memorial Chapel. Decker was born 18- Jul-1923 in Caddo county to Edward 'Ed' and Nettie (Lindsay) Decker. He married 05-Feb-1944 in Lookeba, Caddo co., Ok. to Velma Ruth Duncan. He grew up and attended school in Binger. He served in the U.S. Army from which he was discharged in 1943. He was an ordained Baptist minister and served as missionary on the Navajo reservation. He was a member of the Crossroads Baptist Church in Pryor and a member of the American Legion Post 12 and DAV post 43. He was superintendent of the Vocational Meat Processing Plant for the State of Oklahoma. He retired from that position in 1983. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Naomi Cooper and Irene Decker; and two brothers, Stacy and Jesse Decker. Survivors include his wife, three sons, one daughter, four grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, one brother and two sisters. --------------------------------------------------------------------
