All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Lawton Constitution 11 Nov 2003 Herman Ernest Dinse APACHE — Funeral for Herman Dinse, 89, Apache, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Apache, with Richard Mayer, pastor, St. John Lutheran Church, Lawton, and St. Peter's Lutheran Church. Mrs. Dinse died Monday, Nov. 10, 2003, at his home. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery, Apache, under direction of Crews Funeral Home. He was born Oct. 20, 1914, northeast of Stecker. He was raised in and farmed and ranched in the Stecker-Apache area all his life. He attended Stecker schools where he was an athlete and won the state championship in the 100-yard dash. He married Maxine Dailey on Aug. 26, 1935, in Chickasha. He was a lifelong member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Apache. Survivors include his wife, of the home; a son and daughter-in-law, Lloyd and Shirley Dinse, Apache; a daughter and son-in-law, Betty and Stanley Bailey, Cyril; eight grandchildren: Angie Rasmusson, Enid; Randy and Leah Nealis, Anadarko; Christi and Kevin Shellhorse, Skiatook; Deonne Smiley, Lawton; Wendi and David Ferrell, Chickasha; Brad and Alicia Bailey, Cherokee; Kenny and Caryn Bailey, Elgin; and Steve and Melissa Bailey, Mustang; 12 great-grandchildren: Nicole and Breanna Shellhorse, Kaisha and Jacob Howell, Kaden Ferrell, Trevor and Lisa Nealis, Weylin Hargrove, Stihl Cahsenah, Stacey Bailey, Taylor Bailey and Grace Bailey; and many other relatives and friends.
