Mrs. Evatt died 01-Nov-2000 in Chickasha, Grady county, Ok. Officiating will be the Rev. Travis Wollenberg. Burial will be in Cyril's Celestial Gardens Cemetery under the direction of McRay's Cyril Funeral Home. Mrs. Evatt was born 07-Mar-1913 in Cement, Caddo county, Ok. to Marshall M. and Susan D. (Whited) Wyatt. She married Rex Evatt 09- Jun-1934 in Cement. As a child she lived in the Verden and Chickasha areas which are located in Grady county, Ok. In 1929 her family moved back to Cement. She and her husband moved to Cyril where they resided for over 50 years. She was a member of the Cyril Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School, Discipleship Training, sang in the choir and was a member of the Women's Missionary Union. She was a lifetime member of the Cyril Historical Society. Preceding her in death was her husband on 28-Oct-1997; her parents; one brother and two sisters. Survivors include one son, Rex L. Evatt Jr. of Santa Clara, Calif.; one sister, Harriet Crawford of Bakersfield, Calif.; one brother, Ivan Wyatt of Chico, Calif.; one grandson, Rex L. Evatt III of Fallon, Nev., and one granddaughter, Tonya Brawley of Orlando. Memorials may be made to the Cyril First Baptist Church --------------------------------------------------------------------
