All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== :Fort Cobb Cemetery--Fort Cobb OK Lawton Constitution 6 Apr 2003 Hazel Jackson Easterling FORT COBB — Graveside funeral service for 94, Fort Cobb, will be at 10 a.m., Wednesday at Fort Cobb Cemetery, with Rev. Jonathan Zerby officiating. Mrs. Easterling died Monday, March 30, 2003 in Vacaville, California. Interment will be under the direction of Fort Cobb-Hackney Funeral Home, Fort Cobb. Hazel was born January 14, 1909 in Beggs, Oklahoma to J. N. and Cora Jackson. She was the last surviving member of her family of twelve. She moved to Caddo county in 1911 and attended Oak View School. She married Willard Easterling on October 21, 1924 in Anadarko. She moved to Vacaville, California three years ago where she resided until her death. Survivors include: one daughter, Yvonne Fatheree and husband, John, Vacaville, California; a daughter-in-law, Mary Jean Easterling, Fort Cobb; two granddaughters, Lucy Clinton and husband Danny, Carnegie, and Jennifer Johnson and husband, Rick, Vacaville, California; three great- grandchildren, Amy Leck and husband Kris, Kingfisher, Oklahoma, Jason Clinton, Coyle, Oklahoma, and Jessica Johnson and husband Ricky, Vacaville, California; one great-great-granddaughter, Sicily Ann Leck, Kingfisher, Oklahoma; several nieces, nephews and many friends. Mrs. Easterling was preceded in death by her husband in 1988 and her son, Leonard Easterling in 1991.
