Funeral services were held 12-Jun-1984 at 2:30 p.m. in the Binger 
Church of God for Mrs. Ethel Laura Essman who died 09-Jun-1984 in 
Chickasha. Officiating was Rev. W.L. Mackey of Chickasha, assisted by 
Rev. Charles Isaacs of Oklahoma City, Ok. Burial was in the Hinton 
Cemetery under the direction of the Brown-Binyon Funeral Home.

Mrs. Essman was born 28-Sep-1895 at Cumberland City, Ky. to George W. 
and Rosa H. Marlow Mogg. She married 14-Dec-1925 Orval L. Essman at 
Binger. She lived west of Lookeba for many years before moving to 
Verden in 1971 where she lived until 1977 when she moved to 
Chickasha. She had been a member of the Home Demonstration Club and 
had currently served as vice-president of the WWI Veterans Auxillary 
at Anadarko. She was a charter member of the Church of God in Binger.

Preceding her in death were her parents, two brothers and four 
sisters. Survivors include her husband, one daughter, one brother, 
one sister and three grandchildren.
