Mrs. Ellison died 28-Nov-2000 in Lawton. Burial will be in the Fort Cobb cemetery under the direction of the Fort Cobb Funeral Home. Mrs. Ellison was born 13-Oct-1911 in Muskogee, Muskogee county, Ok. to William Henry and Mary Jane (Tucker) Hogan. She married Preston Lee Ellison in Muskogee. She was raised in Muskogee along with her thirteen brothers and sisters. After her marriage the couple moved to Lawton. She had retired from domestic service and was a member of the Macedonia Baptist Church in Fort Cobb. She was the church mother. Preceding her in death were her husband, parents and thirteen brothers and sisters. Survivors include two daughters and sons-in- law, Bertha and Clarence Nelson of Garland, Tx., and Wilma and Vernon Winston of Lawton, Ok.; six grandchildren, Rovyn M. Smith, Adrian Lindsey, Jay Scott McFrazier, Eric Charles McFrazier, Clarence Nelson II and Shana M. Nelson; eight great grandchildren and many nephews and nieces. --------------------------------------------------------------------
