ELLIOTT was born Dec. 31, 1899 in McMinnville, TN., to Samual C. and Ollie (ACUFF) (NORTHCUTT) ELLIOTT. and died Saturday, Jan 9, 1999 in Carnegie. He was raised in Tennessee. He owned several businesses during his working life: a wrecker service, a salvage yard and service station in Clinton; then a motel and service station in Albuquerque, NM. He came to Caddo County from Albuquerque and farmed for many years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Fort Cobb. He was the Oklahoma State Skeet Champion in 1939 Mr. Elliott was married to Pauline DERRYBERRY Aug 23, 1923 at Sayre. She died Feb. 23, 1975. He was then married to Ruby Lee SCOTT April 1, 1976 at Hobart. She also preceded him in death on July 13, 1986. Also preceding him in death were his parents, two sisters and six brothers. Survivors include a step-daughter, Doretta LITTLE of Howard, KS.; nephews, Lex ELLIOTT of Cassville, MO. and Danny ELLIOTT of Red Rock; nieces, Lorena Faye KEEFER of Bonner Springs, KS. and Louise FORD of Florida; four step-grandchildren and 12 step great- grandchildren. --------------------------------------------------------------------
