Elledge, Harley N. 

PERRYTON - Harley N. Elledge, 93, died Sunday, March 2, 1997.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Waka Church of the Brethren at 
Waka with the Rev. Martin Gauby, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in 
Ochiltree Cemetery by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home.

Mr. Elledge was born in Fairview, Okla. He had lived in the Perryton area 
since 1917, moving from Fairview. He moved to Ochiltree County with his 
father and brother. They homesteaded a section of land one mile north and 
one mile west of Waka. After the death of his father, he continued to farm 
and care for his brother. He retired in 1994.

He married Lena E. Forney in 1921 at Anadarko, Okla. She died in 1991. He 
also was preceded in death by a son, Jimmy.

Survivors include a son, Don R. Elledge of White Deer and Jack W. Elledge 
of Pueblo, Colo.; a daughter, Bonnie Reeves of Perryton; seven 
grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

The family requests memorials be to the Waka Church of the Brethren or a 
favorite charity.
