Ray Gabehart

DIMMITT - Ray Gabehart, 87, died Saturday, Feb. 21, 1998.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in First United Methodist Church of 
Olton with the Rev. Norman Patton, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in 
Olton Cemetery by Foskey-Lilley-McGill Funeral Homes.

Mr. Gabehart was born in Lindsey, Okla. He moved to Olton from Binger, 
Okla., in 1953. He farmed in Oklahoma from 1932 until 1955, then in Olton 
until his retirement in 1975. He was a member of the First United 
Methodist Church in Olton.

He married Louise Leggitt in 1969 at Olton, Okla. In 1932, he married Opal 
Smith, who died in 1968.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Jeanie Lopez of Olton; three sons, 
Kenneth Gabehart of Amarillo, Troy Gabehart of Dumas and Preston Leggitt 
of New Braunfels; two sisters, Helen Reed of Kerrville and Mable O'Bryant 
of Anadarko, Okla.; 16 grandchildren; 21 greatgrandchildren; and three 
great-greatgrandchildren.

The family requests memorials be to Runningwater Draw Care Center, P.O. 
Box 409, Olton, Texas, 79064, or to a favorite charity.
