GILLIAM Last rites for Mrs. Altha Marie Gilliam, who died at her home in Cyril Sunday were held at 10:30 o'clock Tuesday morning in the First Baptist Church in Cyril. Rev. J.C. Fowler, of the Baptist Church at Tonkawa, OK. and a former pastor here, officiated at the service, assisted by Rev. Kenneth Haley, pastor of the Christian Church in Cyril. Burial was in the Cement cemetery with the Dalton Funeral Home, Fletcher, in charge. Pallbearers were J.C. McGee, Earl Sandlin, Gene Metcalf, Bob Miller, C.D. Wise and E.R. Kaser. Altha Marie Stroud was born August 19, 1912, in Arkansas and died Sunday, July 15 at the age of 43 years at her home in the west part of Cyril. She was married in November, 1945, to Clyde S. Gilliam, while living in Fletcher. They have made their home in Cyril for 11 years. Mrs. Gilliam is survived by her husband, Clyde Gilliam; a sister, Mrs. Marshall Conrad, Elgin, Ok.; a brother, R.A. Stroud, Cement; three half-brothers, Ernest Stroud, Tulsa, Ok., Charles Stroud of Kansas City, and Clayburn Stroud of Fletcher; two step-brothers, James Jenkins of Oklahoma City and Hale Jenkins of Chouteau, Ok. --------------------------------------------------------------------
