Gilman APACHE — Funeral for Clela M. Gilman, 78, Apache, will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Oak Street Church of Christ with Roy Young officiating. Mrs. Gilman died Friday, Nov. 7, 2003, from acute leukemia. Burial will be at Cache Creek Mission Cemetery, west of Apache, under direction of Crews Funeral Home. She was born June 29, 1925, in Lindon, Kan., to Charley and Julia Davidson Moser. She grew up and attended schools in Apache. She married Walter L. Gilman on May 8, 1940, in Duncan. They traveled and lived throughout the United States, residing in the Sacramento, Calif., area for many years before returning to live west of Apache in 1987. She was a homemaker. Survivors include a son, Leon Gilman, Apache; two daughters: Sondra Strain, Albany, Ore., and Morena Henley, Apache; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a sister, Mildred Gilman, Apache; and several nieces and nephews.
