Burial was in the Gracemont cemetery, Caddo co., Ok. under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home of Chickasha. Garrett was born 21-May-1902 in Stephenville, Texas to Willis Monroe and Maude (Hendrix) Higgins. She married 06-Jul-1919 in Binger, Caddo co., Ok. to Roy Garrett. She moved with her family to Chickasha when she was two years old, later moving to Dibble, Ok. and then to Caddo County where she attended Whitebread school. She and her husband lived in Caddo county, Canadian county and Grady county. She was a member of the Missionary Baptist Church and of the Rebekah Lodge where she held the office of Past Noble Grand. She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; three brothers, Bill, Charlie and Russell Higgins; one sister, Cassie Finley; and two grandchildren, Frank Garrett and David Houston Garrett.
