May 1, 1974 Howl Service Set Thursday Funeral services for Ernest howl, 73, long-time area farmer will be held at 2:30 Thursday, May 2 at the Alfalfa First Baptist Church. Officiating will be Rev. James Weston, pastor. Howl died Tuesday, April 30 at the Carnegie Nursing home following a lengthy illness. The Peoples Home of Lone Wolf will be in charge of the arrangements and interment at the Alfalfa Cemetery. Ernest Howl was born January 22, 1901 at Madill. He and his wife, Anna, had resided on a farm southwest Carnegie for several years. He was a retired farmer-rancher.
