Mr. Halsey died Saturday, October 20, from cancer, after being ill since June. The funeral rites were conducted by Rev. Ward H.N. Gregg at 2 p.m. followed by burial in Memory Lane Cemetery. Halsey was a mechanic, born in Marshall, Mo., October 1, 1881, and had resided in Anadarko for 35 years with the exception of the year spent in Cyril.
