He was the son of Ted and Glenda Holdge, the brother of Lynita Sanders and the grandson of Mildred Shook, all of Gracemont. Holdge died after falling from an 18-story tower. He worked at the station as plant operator. He was also a real estate agent and a certified rescue SCUBA diver. Funeral services are set for 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Assembly of God Church in Gracemont with burial in the Gracemont cemetery under the direction of Smith Funeral Chapel of Anadarko. *** ANADARKO DAILY NEWS MONDAY APRIL 13, 1998 (GRACEMONT) Obituaries - Mark Holdge Services for Mark Holdge, 32 of Vernon, Texas will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Assembly of God Church in Gracemont with the Rev. Scott Olson of the First Assembly of God Church in Sapulpa, officiating. Holdge was born March 26, 1966 in Anadarko to Ted and Glenda (Shook) Holdge and died Friday in Vernon. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ted and Ida Holdge and T.J. Shook and one aunt, Pauline Turney. He was a graduate of Perry High School. He was employed as a plant operator for West Texas Utility Oklaunion Power Station. He had just received his real estate license and was associated with Davis-Vernon Real Estate. He was a certified rescue diver and enjoyed scuba diving and was a member of the Frist Assembly of God Church of Vernon. Survivors include his parents of Gracemont; one sister, Lynita Sanders and her husband, Steve, of Gracemont; his grandmother, Mildred Shook of Gracemont and one niece and two nephews. Burial will be in the Gracemont Cemetery under the direction of Smith Funeral Chapel of Anadarko. Pallbearers will be Dennis Holdge, Dwayne Holdge, Jimmy Niece, Larry Holdge, Ricky Holdge, Tony Shook, Wade Shook, Dennis Mace, Jerry Niece, Everett Turney, Dick Tripp, Rick Tripp, Roger Morrow and Chris Martin.
