Harry Elver, Pastor, officiating and Bill Covey of Dustin assisting. Holdge was born Jan. 20, 1903 in Bryan County and died Sunday at the Carnegie Nursing Home. She was a homemaker and a member of the Pentecostal Holiness Church in Gracemont. She grew up in Bryan County and attended school at Kenefic. She and Ted Holdge were married August 10, 1924 in Bryan County. They moved to Gracemont in 1927 where they farmed 60 years before moving to Fort Cobb. Her husband died Feb. 7, 1987. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Eva Branam; an infant son, Teddy; a daughter, Hazel; two sisters, and three brothers. Survivors include three sons, Odis Holdge of Gracemont, Alton Holdge of Fort Cobb and Theodore Holdge of Perry; two daughters, Pauline Turney and Katherine Orrell, both of Fort Cobb; 18 grandchildren, 30 great- grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. Burial will be in the Memory Lane Cemetery in Anadarko under direction of the Fort Cobb Funeral Home of Fort Cobb, Telephone number 643-2622.
