The submitter has given permission to the USGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. ===================================================================== Surnames: Holmberg, Proctor, Wright Mollie Myrtle "Blue" Holmberg April 25, 2000 Graveside services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, 29-Apr-2000 in Anadarko's Memory Lane Cemetery for Mollie Myrtle Holmberg, 89, of Anadarko, who died 25-Apr-2000. Officiating was Rev. Johnny Wray, pastor of the First Baptist Church in Verden. Burial was under the direction of the Steverson Funeral Home of Anadarko. Mrs. Holmberg was born 13-Oct-1910 in Bridgeport, Texas to Robert and Georgia (Wright) Proctor. She married Daniel Holmberg 31-May-1930 in Chickasha. She came to Anadarko at an early age with her family and where she continued residing. She graduated from Anadarko High School and from the Anadarko Beauty College. She was employed as a hairdresser for 37 years and was a long time member of the Presbyterian Church. She received her nickname 'Blue' from her family who called her 'Blue Eyes,' and was eventually shortened to Blue. Preceding her in death was her husband on 12-Aug-1986; her parents; one daughter and son-in-law, Joan and Richard Owens; an infant son, Daniel Holmberg, Jr.; one brother, Paul Proctor; and two brothers-in-law, Bill and Woodrow Holmberg. Survivors include one daughter, one brother, two grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.
