Hendricks 17-Jun-1997 Funeral services were held in the Gracemont Assembly of God Church for Lewie L. Hendricks who died 17-Jun-1997 in Oklahoma City, Ok. Burial was in the Gracemont Cemetery under the direction of the Smith Funeral Chapel of Anadarko. Hendricks was born 17-Nov-1918 in Tahlequah, Ok. to Joseph 'Joe' and Minnie E. (Jackson) Hendricks. He married 19-Dec-1942 in Gracemont Louise Jocoy. He was a resident of this area most of his life. He had worked for the city of Anadarko as water superintendent until his retirement in 1982. He was a member of the Cherokee tribe. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, his twin brother Coowie Hendricks and Joe Hendricks and one grandchild, Alison.
