He was born March 25, 1951, at Albuquerque, New Mexico, the son of the late Dickey and Betty Henderson. David attended grade school at Fort Sill, Oklahoma and in Germany. He then completed his education at Leedey Public Schools graduating with the class od 1970. In 1984 David married Cindy Clark at Arapaho, Oklahoma. Two children were born to this union, David Allen and Amber dawn. David lived, in Hydro, Hinton, and Clinton, Oklahoma. He was a welder and enjoyed time with friends and landscaping projects. David was baptized at the Leedey First Baptist Church during his teenage years. He served in the United States Army and received the rank of SP-4 at the time of his honorable discharge. Those preceding David in death were his parents, Dickey and Betty Ruth Haney Henderson. Survivors include his children, David Allen Henderson and wifew Joann and Amber Dawn Henderson both of Moberly, Missouri; a special step daughter, Barbara Clark of Higbee, Missouri; his grandchildren, Ashley Danielle Henderson and Jordan Lee Sager both of Moberly, Missouri; two brothers, Richard Henderson of Shamrock, Texas and Larry Henderson and wife DeAnn of Greenville, Michigan; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, a special cousin, Teresa Grant Roper, other family and a host of friends. Services were held December 11, 2004 in the First Baptist Church, Leedey, with interment following in the Greenwood Cemetery of Weatherford, Oklahoma with arrangements by Shaw Funeral Home of Leedey, Oklahoma.
