Hemming CARNEGIE - Funeral for Wiletta J. Hemming, 79, Carnegie, was Tuesday at Carnegie First Baptist Church with the Rev. Arthur Blount officiating. Mrs. Hemming died June 25, 2003, at her home. Burial was at Apache Cemetery under direction of Pitcher-Hackney Funeral Home, Carnegie. She was born May 16, 1924, in Boise City, to William I. and Janie "Joyce" Miller Matthews. She graduated from Boise City High School, and attended OCW three years, and Southwestern one year. She married Johnny Davis, and he died in 1951. She married James Hemming on Jan. 18, 1958, in Apache. He died in 1999. She was a member of First Baptist Church where she taught the 7-year-old class for many years. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law: Kynn and Carleta Davis and Cary Don and Latrisha Davis; a daughter, W. Janie White, Carnegie; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a brother, Allen M.
