Mrs. Hardesty died Saturday, Aug. 16, 2003, in Carnegie. Burial will be at Fort Cobb Cemetery under direction of Fort Cobb- Hackney Funeral Home. She was born in Anadarko on April 23, 1944, to Ira and Joyce Tilley Schoonover. She married Ronnie Hardesty on Aug. 11, 1962 in Fort Cobb. She was a homemaker and a member of Fort Cobb First Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, of the home; a son, Robie Hardesty, Carnegie; two daughters: Ronetta Wilburn and her husband Doyle, Norman; and Becky King, El Reno; a brother, Ralph Schoonover, Fort Cobb; her father-in-law, Clarence "Hack" Hardesty, Fort Cobb; and six grandchildren: Melanie Wilburn, Tiffany Wilburn and Derak Wilburn, all of Norman; Teresa King and Matthew King, Lookeba; and Nathaniel Howell, Fort Cobb.
