Officiating was the pastor, Dr. John Cahill. Burial was in Anadarko's Memory Lane Cemetery under the direction of the Steverson Funeral Home of Anadarko. Mrs. Johnson was born 07-Apr-1923 near Anadarko to William I. and Eva Jane (Pierson) Meads. She first married Adrian Woody who was killed 07-Dec-1941 at Pearl Harbor. She grew up in Anadarko where she attended school. She was employed at the Fowler Nursing Home for several years. She was a long time member of the Assembly of God Church and loved to minister to the elderly and shut-ins. Preceding her in death was her first husband; her father; two infant sons; one infant daughter; one brother, Bill Meads and one sister, June Gatlin. Survivors include her mother, Eva Meads of Anadarko; one daughter, Darlene Werschky of Anadarko; her friend and companion, Raymond Hatton of Anadarko; one sister-in-law, Martha Meads of Oklahoma City, Ok.; several nephews and nieces including Sandra and Frankie Skaggs of Dallas, Tex., Connie and Carol Jean Gatlin of Dumas, Tex., Larry Gatlin of San Antonio, Tex., Sharon Whiteman of Oklahoma City, Ok., and Carolyn Schemmerhorn of Wichita, Kan. --------------------------------------------------------------------
