Johnson Funeral service for Julia D. Johnson, 74, of Chickasha, was held at 10 a.m., Friday, April 6, 1990, in the Chapel of Sevier Funeral Home. Reverend K. E. Rains, pastor of the Grace Baptist Church, officiated. Julia D. Johnson was born August 13, 1915, in Anadarko, and died Tuesday, April 3, 1990, in Chickasha. Mrs. Johnson had lived in Chickasha all of her life. She and Elmer (Rat) Johnson were married September 3, 1931, in Chickasha. He preceded her in death April 3, 1979. Mrs. Johnson was also preceded in death by her father, Ben Ford; two sisters; and one infant daughter. Mrs. Johnson was a member of the Sharon Baptist Church. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Betty and Dean Jennings of Moore; four grandchildren, Rick Jennings and wife, Becky of Moore, Donald Jennings of Norman, Susan Jennings of Moore, Teresa Swearingen and husband, Richard, of Yukon; four great grandchildren, Billy and Melissa Jennings, and Matthew and Mallory Swearingen; and on sister, Elizabeth McDaniel of Edmond.
