Burial was in the Carnegie Cemetery under the direction of the Pitcher-Hackney Funeral Home of Carnegie. Johnson was born 31-Mar-1918 in Carnegie to William Charles and Mamie Victoria (Green) Swanda. She lived her entire life in the Carnegie area. She joined the United Methodist Church of Carnegie when she was 17. She was preceded in death by her parents; and two sisters, Lottie Adkins and Helen Beasley.
