Kuykendall Dies, Rites Held Noah Benjamin (N.B.) Kuykendall of Carnegie died Wednesday, March 15 at the Veteran's Administration Hospital in Oklahoma City. He was born August 14, 1890 in Sherman, Texas. He married Margaret Armitage March 15, 1943 at Anadarko. Kuykendall served in the army during World War I and was awarded the War Service Chevron, Victory Medal and two bronze stars for his participation in the battles of St. Mikiel and The Argonne. Following the war, he farmed for several years in the Post, Texas area. He moved to the Carnegie area around 1925. Kuykendall was a member of local Post #41 of the American Legion. Services were held Saturday, March 18, at the Nazarene Church with Rev. Bob Williams officiating. Burial was in the Carnegie Cemetery under the direction of Dodd Funeral Home in Mountain Veiw. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Billy Ratliff of Mountain View and Wanda Rogers of Hinton; four brothers, Jack of Sunray, Tex., W.H. and Tom.
