Burial was in the Cement Cemetery under the direction of the Binyon-Cyril Funeral Home. Keeton was born 10-Jun-1914 at Anutt, Dent county, Mo. to Elva and Opal (Heavin) Keeton. He married 18-Oct-1936 in Chickasha, Grady county, Ok. Arlene McCloskey. Keeton moved to Cement as a child and graduated from Cement High School. He worked in the oilfields and for the railroad. In 1941 he moved to Cyril where be began working for the Anderson-Prichard Oil Refinery. After his retirement, he opened the Keeton Insurance Agency in Cyril in 1974. He was a member of the Cyril Rotary Club and had served the club as president. He had been a member of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows Lodge in Cement. He was a member of the First Baptist Church and served as church usher. He was preceded in death by two sons, Joyce Kenneth in 1942 and Billy Wayne in 1957; his parents, and two brothers.
