J.L. Garrett, pastor of the Bible Baptist Church at Chickasha, officiating, assisted by Rev. Paul Wallace. Mrs. Keeton died 04-Jul- 1956 in Eureka, Kansas.Burial was in the IOOF Cemetery at Cement with the Dalton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Keeton was born 01-Jul-1894 in Edgar Springs, Phelps county, Missouri to William Henry and Cynthia Catherine (Mace) Heavin. She married Elva Keeton. She moved to Oklahoma in 1920, living in Anadarko and Cement. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Cement. She had been in ill health for several years and was living with her daughter Lola Maxine Griffith in Eureka, Kans. She was preceded in death by her husband 26-Apr-1936; one son, Robert Louis 'Bobby' 23-Apr-1936; and by her father 24-Oct-1935.
