King was born 15-Nov-1902 in Rule, Texas to Charles F. and Carrie Bell (Oakes) Tarbet. She married 05-Jun-1921 Cecil C. King, in Norman, Ok. He preceded her in death. She taught school for two years (1920-1922) and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one son, W.C. 'Sonny' King; two sisters, two brothers; three half-brothers and two half-sisters. She is survived by four daughters, 15 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
