All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Lawton Constitution 6 Dec 2002 King, Mary Burgess FLETCHER — Funeral for Mary Mandalyn Burgess King, 49, Fletcher, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Little Washita Indian Methodist Church, near Fletcher, with the Rev. Margaret Battiest, pastor, officiating. Mrs. King died Thursday, Dec. 5, 2002, at a Fort Sill hospital. Burial will be at Little Washita Indian Cemetery under direction of Hodge Funeral Home, Fletcher. A prayer service will be at 7 p.m. today at the funeral home chapel. She was born April 5, 1953, in Lawton. She was reared in the Cyril and Fletcher area and graduated from Fletcher High School. She was a homemaker and a member of Little Washita Indian Methodist Church and an associate member of Grant Chapel United Methodist Church, Welty. She married J.C. King in June 1994 in Wewoka. Survivors include her husband, of the home; two daughters: Adra Lynn Tehauno and Cari Jo Yarbrough, both of Lawton; four grandchildren: Hannah, Gabriel, Baby Ella and Baby Gladys; four sisters: Margaret Burgess, Elgin; Bonnie Red Bear and Lou E. Burgess, both of Anadarko; and Laticia Bridges, Fletcher; four brothers: Clifford Burgess, Wichita Falls, Texas; Willie Burgess, Fletcher; Charles Burgess, Cyril; and Aaron Burgess, Fletcher; a stepbrother, Larry Pahcoddy; and two stepsisters: Irene Lane, Anadarko; and Rosalie Bennett, Fletcher.
