::Memory Gardens Cemetery--Pampa TX

Russell Herbert Kennedy

PAMPA - Russell Herbert Kennedy, 91, died Wednesday, June 2, 1999.

Services will be at 10 a.m. today in Bible Church of Pampa with the 
Rev. Roger Hubbard, pastor of Lake Tanglewood Community Church in 
Amarillo, officiating. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery in 
Pampa by CarmichaelWhatley Funeral Directors.

Mr. Kennedy was born in Bridgeport, Okla., and had been a resident of 
Pampa since 1922. He graduated from Pampa High School in 1924. He was 
a former Pampa Harvester football player. He owned and operated 
Kennedy Jewelry Store, retiring in 1980. He was a member of the Bible 
Church of Pampa and a former member of the Pampa Lions Club.

He married Martha Snead in 1933 at Pampa. She died in 1988.

Survivors include two daughters, Mary Martha Wilcox of Dallas and Ann 
Elizabeth Everhart of Lawton, Okla.; two sisters, Maleta Parker of 
Blacksburg, Va., and Erma Lee Barber of Pampa; and three 
grandchildren.

The family requests memorials be to the Pampa Senior Citizens Center. 
They will be at 2015 Duncan.
