Officiating was Rev. Robert Whitley, pastor. Burial was in Apache's Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Robbins Funeral Home of Fletcher. Love was born 13-Jun-1923 at Apache to Harold and Elsie Love. He married Betty Jane Fowler 18-Mar-1950 at Apache. He resided his entire life in Apache, working as a shipping inspector in shipping and receiving at Fort Sill for 27 1/2 years, retiring in 1989. He also farmed. He served in the United States Army during World War II in Europe, Normandy, Rhineland, Ardennes and Northern France as an airplane engine mechanic. Preceding him in death were his parents; one sister, Lavina Faye Love; and two great-grandsons, Casey and Jase Spriggs.
