Medical Center. Services will be under the direction of the Lockstone Funeral Home of Weatherford. Mrs. Luchau was born 10-Jul-1910 in Gracemont to George M. and Alice (Boazman) Bailey. She married Walter Luchau 10-Sep-1927 after graduating from high school. She attended school in Gracemont where her mother was the first postmistress. Her mother, Mrs. Bailey, also had the honor of naming the town Gracemont after two of her friends, Grace and Montgomery. Mrs. Luchau and her husband attended Southwest Oklahoma Teacher's College in Weatherford and taught school at rural Camp Creek in Caddo County. They later moved to Harmon County and taught two years at O.M. They moved to Weatherford 06-May-1933 where her husband sold insurance for 65 years. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Ladies' Circle, United Methodist Women, Proberian Study Club and several bridge clubs. Preceding her in death was her husband on 24-Dec-1998; one son, Glen Ray in March of 1977; her parents; and one brother, Garland Bailey.
