All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== ::Highland Cemetery--Lawton OK The Chickasha Express-Star Monday, 31 October 2005 NETA MARIE [DEAN] LEWIS Neta Marie (Dean) Lewis went to be with the Lord Saturday, October 22, 2005 at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 81 years. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, November 2, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at Highland Cemetery at Lawton with interment to follow with the Reverend Larry Hatfield officiating, under the direction of Hodge Funeral Home-Fletcher, Oklahoma. Neta was born December 31, 1923 at Cement, Oklahoma to John Walter Dean and Carrie Bell (Gibson) Dean. Neta graduated from Cement High School in 1943. She married Robert Charlie Lewis, Sr. She worked as a homemaker and enjoyed taking care of her children and grandchildren. She liked quilting and embroidering, feeding the birds, caring for her plants, playing cards and especially dominoes! Neta enjoyed attending church. Preceded in death by: her parents; husband, Robert Lewis, October 6, 1969; one infant son, Allen Loyd Lewis; one daughter, Marie Frank; three grandchildren; two brothers; and one sister. Survivors include: three sons, R. C. Lewis and wife Judy of Cement, Oklahoma, Johnny Lewis and wife Sherri of Ninnekah, Oklahoma, Billy Joe Lewis and wife Nora of Chickasha, Oklahoma; five daughters, Gennettie Pollard and husband Joce of Cement, Oklahoma, Dorothy Settle and husband Rodger of Cement, Oklahoma, Glenda Pennel and husband Sonny of Chickasha, Oklahoma, Roberta Chaney and husband Jimmy of Cement, Oklahoma, LaDonna Hedrick and husband Rob of Cement, Oklahoma; one sister, Dorothy Igo of Lexington, Oklahoma; two brothers, Alvin Dean of Cement, Oklahoma, Elmer Dean of Wisconsin; 26 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; many other nieces, nephews and friends in which she deeply loved.
