Lynn, Washita, dies from internal injury received Friday. Severe internal injuries and a crushed chest which he received when his team ran away last Friday proved fatal early this morning for Fred Harris (should be Harrison) Lynn, 31-year-old Washita Farmer, who died at the Hospital here at 2:30 this morning. Lynn was working in his fields near Washita late last Friday morning when the accident occurred. He had loaded his wagon with corn and started to return to the house when the team ran away. In attempting to halt them he fell under the wheels of the wagon and they passed over him. He was brought to the Hospital here about noon Friday. His widow, Mrs. Ethel Lynn, and three children, Fay, 8, Irene, 6, and Elsie 3, survive him. Other survivors are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. W.R. Lynn of Washita, three brothers, Jesse of Binger, Milton and Elzie of Washita, and three sisters, Mrs. Harold Fredrickson, Mrs. Gene Upton and Mrs. Howard Holdge all of Washita. A younger brother, Leslie Jefferson Lynn, preceded him in death a year ago, almost to the day. He died in the Hospital here on October 19, 1937. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 Wednesday afternoon in the Washita Church, with Rev. F.L. Farrington conducting the rites.
