The submitter has given permission to the USGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. ====================================================================== Earl Linneman Funeral Services Held Here Nov. 30 Funeral services for Earl Dean Linneman, 71, were conducted at 10 a.m. Monday, November 30, 1987, at the First United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Joe Stewart, pastor, officiating. Mr. Linneman died suddenly November 26 at McAllen, Texas. He was born February 9, 1916, near Carnegie and was married to Audrey Smith on April 18, 1946, at Apache. After their marriage he worked in the oil field until they moved back to the farm near Apache in 1953 and then into Apache in 1966. He retired from farming in 1977. Mr. Linneman was a veteran of World War 11 serving in North Africa and Europe. He was a Board member of the Apache Farmers Cooperative for nine years and a member of the Apache School Board from 1962 until 1967. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife, Audrey, of the home, one daughter, Carolyn Gilger of Richmond, Texas, three granddaughters, two nieces and one nephew. Serving as pallbearers were Dennis Steen, Johnny Tipsword, Sherril Martin, Greg Miller, Danny Steen, Shelby Martin, Milton Bybee and Harry Lee Smith, Jr. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Crews Funeral Home.
