Services were Tues., Aug. 27, 2002 in Shawnee. Burial was in the Cyril, OK Cemetery, under the direction of Roesch Walker Funeral Chapel. Born Sept. 15, 1937 in OKC to Elvis and Laura Mayo. In his youth he was an Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts and attended John Marshall High School. He served four years in the Air Force. He was a retired painter/ paper hanger and a retired teacher from Treasure Lake Job Corps. He was a 32nd degree mason, member of Fairview Baptist Church, and Painter's Local 807 Union.
