Yvonne Lavelle McKee

Services were held 01-Feb-2000 at the First United Methodist Church 
in Anadarko, caddo co., Ok. for Yvonne Lavelle McKee who died 27-
Jan-2000 in Anadarko. Burial was in the Memory Lane Cemetery in 
Anadarko under the direction of the Steverson Funeral Home of 
Anadarko. McKee was born 06-Mar-1919 in Fort Cobb, caddo co., Ok. to 
Oscar L. and Maude L. (Pickett) Terry. She married 26-Dec-1952 in 
Sulphur, Ok., Homer Lee McKee, Sr. She grew up in Fort Cobb and 
graduated with the class of 1935. She graduated from the Chickasha 
Beauty College and operated shops in Anadarko and at her home, west 
of Anadarko. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church 
in Anadarko. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, 
Homer Lee McKee Jr., (24-Dec-1999); one brother, Oscar 'Spider' 
Terry and one sister, Marguerite Holmes. Survivors include her 
husband, two sons, one daughter, two grandsons, four granddaughters 
and several great-grandchildren, and two sisters.
