All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== :Fairview Cemetery--Apache OK Lawton Constitution 29 Nov 2003 Bill Vernon McBride APACHE — Funeral Mass for Bill Vernon McBride, 66, Apache, will be said at 10 a.m. Monday at Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church, Apache, with the Rev. Irubayaraj officiating. Mr. McBride died Friday, Nov. 28, 2003, at his home. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery, Apache, under direction of Crews Funeral Home. He was born Jan. 3, 1937, to Bill and Annabell McBride. He married Arlene Mollard on Feb. 28, 1959, in California. He served in the Air Force from 1954 until 1956. After his military service, he lived in California until he moved back to Apache in 1970. He worked for civil service for 28 years. He also worked for Parker Drilling Co. as a gasman for eight years. He was a member of Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church in Apache. Survivors include his wife, of the home; four daughters: Roxanna Davis and Diana Hohman, both of Apache; Carolyn Stearns, Round Rock, Texas; and Sherry Record, Sapulpa; a son, Robert McBride, Cyril; 16 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; four sisters: Florine Orf, Mona Lynch and Laveta Fortney, all of Apache; and Nadine Jarvis, Stillwell.
