All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Lawton Constitution May 19, 2002 Pauline Jane McClung PARADISE VALLEY — Funeral for Pauline Jane McClung, 89, Paradise Valley, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Paradise Valley Baptist Church with the Rev. Don Crittendon, pastor, and the Rev. Bob Couch, Cache, officiating. Mrs. McClung died Thursday, May 16, 2002, in a Lawton nursing center. Burial will be at Paradise Valley Cemetery under direction of Hodge Funeral Home, Fletcher. She was born Dec. 12, 1912, in Stecker to William and JoAnne Morrison and grew up in the Stecker/Boone area. She worked at Woodwards in Apache and as a waitress and cook at the Sheridan Lodge in Paradise Valley. She married Loyd B. McClung on Oct. 30, 1930, in Apache. He died Nov. 17, 1997. They operated a dairy together in the Apache area. She was a member of Paradise Valley Baptist Church and the Home Demonstration Club. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Billie Ann and Don Gilliland, Paradise Valley; a son and daughter-in-law, Jack and Emma McClung, Oklahoma City; five grandchildren: Randy and Rick Gilliland, Sheryl Marley, Mike McClung and Debra Murray; nine great-grandchildren: Brian, Sarah, Christi and Katie Gilliland, Chad and Brent Marley, Aaron and Ashley Applewhite and Elizabeth Murry; and a great-great-granddaughter, Madison Marley. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers: Charlie and Lavon Morrison; and three sisters: Ruby Wage, Fannie Bibee and Maxine Lynn.
