McGuire, 79, of Cyril died 26-Apr-2001 in Chickasaha, Grady county, Ok. Officiating was the Rev. Richmond B. Adams. Burial was in Cyril's Celestial Gardens Cemetery under the direction of the Cyril Funeral Home of Cyril. McGuire was born 10-Nov-1921 in Cyril to Ira Audes and Jessie Enola (Miller) McGuire. He married the former Betty LouWanna Ikard 06-Jul- 1942 in Los Angeles, Ca. He grew up in Cyril where he graduated from high school. He received his associate degree from Cameron University in Lawton, Ok. He entered the United States Army during World War II and served in the Army Air Corps from 1942 to 1946. After the war, he and his wife returned to Cyril. He was employed by the Apco Refinery in Cyril on 15-Mar-1952. He retired with over 30 years of service. Preceding him in death were his parents. Survivors inlcude his wife of the home; one son and daughter-in-law, Glen Joe and Jo Anna McGuire of Cyril; one daughter and son-in-law, Jane Louise and Patrick Francis of Duncan, Ok.; one grandson, Michael Francis of Chickasha, Ok.; four granddaughters, Stacey Francis of Duncan, Dayna and her husband Del Hardaway of Burkburnett, Tex.; Erin and her husband, Chuck Frizzell of Edmond, Ok.; and Adria McGuire of Weatherford, Ok; one great-granddaughter, Allyson Hardaway of Burkburnett, Tx., and two sisters, Naomi Brown and Gladys Miller, both of Cyril. -------------------------------------------------------------------- Return to Caddo County Archives: http://www.usgwarchives.net/ok/caddo/caddo.html
