The submitter has given permission to the USGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. ===================================================================== Surnames: Mahler, Hill, Sanders Thelma Lee Mahler May 14, 2000 Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, 17-May-2000 at the Cyril United Methodist Church in Cyril for Thelma Lee Mahler, 94, of Cyril, who died 14-May-2000 in Cyril. Officiating was Rev. Greg Hall of the First Baptist Church of Cherokee. Burial was in Cyril's Celestial Gardens Cemetery under the direction of the Robbins Funeral Home of Fletcher. Mrs. Mahler was born 18-Jul-1905 in Trenton, Alabama to John F. and Eva Jane (Sanders) Hill. She married Arnold Mahler 16-Oct-1923 in Hedley, Texas. She moved to Sunset, Texas at the age of seven and later moved to Hedley. She came to Oklahoma in 1927, to Apache in 1941 and then to Cyril in 1973. She was a member of the Cyril United Methodist Church. Preceding her in death was her husband on 05-Jul-1984; two daughters, Helen Mahler and Irene Maguire; and two sons, Raymond and Charles Kenneth Mahler. Survivors include two sons, one daughter, 14 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
