Officiating was Rev. Aaron Hacker of Edmond, former pastor; and Rev. Dan Terry, pastor, assisting. Burial was in Anadarko's Memory Lane Cemetery under the direction of the Steverson Funeral Home of Anadarko. Mrs. Miller was born 19-May-1923 in Liberty township, Phelps county, Mo. to Charles Mosie and Susan Jett (Buffer) Brown. She married 21- Jan-1941 in Anadarko Jewel John 'Peonie' Miller. She came to Oklahoma with her family at an early age and lived north of Cement. She was a longtime active member of the Bethel Baptist Church. Preceding her in death were her parents; her grandparents-David and Sarah Elizabeth (Weber) Brown, and Frederick and Margery Ellen (Karnes) Buffer; one sister, Edith Stidham; and two brothers, David Brown and William Arthur 'Art' Brown. Survivors include her husband, two sons and daughters-in-law, Willard and Sandy Miller, and Jerry and Shari Miller; one daughter, LaGuenda Williams; four sisters, Ellen Scott, Lottie Teeter, Opal McKnight, and Geneva Harris; one brother, Henry Brown; six grandchildren-Teri Miller, Geri Miller Brown, Jill, Paige and Brooke Miller, and Dee Dee Pool Hendricks; and two great-grandchildren, Joel Anthony Brown and Devon Nicole Miller. --------------------------------------------------------------------
