Rev. Gary Butler, pastor of the church, officiated. Lonnie Henderson of Anadarko gave the opening prayer and read the obituary. Burial was in Anadarko's Memory Lane Cemetery under the direction of the Smith Funeral Chapel of Anadarko. Pallbearers were Dee Henderson, Bobby Moore, Jerry Miller, Willard Miller, Donnie Wells and Steve Palczynsky. Honorary pallbearers were Tommy Kopepassah, Asa Lee Jenkins, Rusty Still and the entire Rainbo Baking Company crew. Main was born 19-Dec-1941 in Fresno, Calif. to Leon and Viola Davis (Jolliff) Main. He and the former Vonda Lee Miller were united in marriage 03-Jun-1959 in Anadarko. Main was a longtime resident of Anadarko and attended Anadarko Public Schools, graduating with the class of 1959. He was a member of the 45th Division of the Oklahoma National Guard. He was employed by the Rainbo Baking Company for almost 29 years and was known as 'Papa Smurf' by his co-workers. He was an avid golfer. Preceding him in death were his parents; his father and mother-in- law, Adren Amos Miller and Mildred Marie Abney Miller. Survivors include his wife; one son, Kevin Allen Main of Anadarko; one daughter, Twanna DaVonn Main of Anadarko; one granddaughter, three grandsons; four sisters, and many nephews and nieces. DARYL MAIN KILLED IN TRUCK ACCIDENT TODAY Daryl Main, 55, of Anadarko was killed about 2:30 a.m. when the tractor-trailer truck he was driving was involved in an accident with another 18 wheeler on the H.E. Bailey Turnpike near Newcastle, Ok. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported Main was northbound at Mile Marker 107 when a southbound truck driven by Wesley McCalaflin, 29, of Chickasha attempted to make a u-turn across the median. Main's truck collided with the trailer of McClaflin's vehicle. McClaflin was not injured. The Newcastle Fire Department freed Main from the wreckage about 6:20 this morning. Main was employed by the Rainbo Bread Company as a truck driver for many years. Survivors include his wife, Vonda, and his children and grandchildren.
