Officiating was Father David Codwen, pastor of the Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church in Apache. Burial was under the direction of the Crews Funeral Home of Apache. Myers was born 12-Aug-1900 at Fisher Farms, south of Apache, to James and Lena Myers. He and the former Margaret Leota Sturm were married in December of 1924 in Anadarko. He resided in the Apache and Fort Cobb areas all his life and farmed and ranched west of Apache until his retirement. He attended St. Patrick School in Anadarko, St. Gregory's College in Shawnee and Haskell Institute in Lawrence, Kansas. He was a member of the Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church, the National Angus Association and the National Hereford Association. Preceding him in death was his wife, 22-Aug-1979; and his parents.
