Morgan, Nellie     

Nellie Morgan was born March 1, 1930 to Melvin & Ava (Dixon) Long. She 
passed away Saturday, September 20, 2003 at her home in Lookeba, Oklahoma 
at the age of 73. Nellie graduated from Hinton High School in 1948. She 
was united in marriage to Edwin Morgan on October 16, 1949 at Amarillo, 
Texas. They moved to Oklahoma City in 1952 & Nellie worked as a purchasing 
agent for Southwestern Stationary & Bank Supply for 24 years. Nellie & 
Edwin have lived in Lookeba since 1989. She was a member of the Lookeba 
United Methodist Church where she served as the secretary and treasurer of 
the U.M.W. for many years. Survivors include: Her husband, Edwin Morgan of 
the home, Lookeba, OK; One Daughter: Evelyn Hopper & Husband Richard, of 
Harrah, OK; One-Son-In-Law: Paul Dennis, of Harrah, OK; Three 
Grandchildren: Jaci Files & husband, Shane & their Children, Patra & 
Katriel, all of Tuttle, OK; Joseph Hopper & Wife Brie, of Norman, OK; 
Michelle Mears, of Yukon, OK; Two-Sisters: Mae Reese & Husband David, of 
Durant, OK; Leona Luschen & Husband Bud, of Piedmont, OK; One Brother: 
Royce Long of Okarche, OK; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and 
friends. Nellie was preceded in death by Her Parents: Melvin & Ava Long; 
One Daughter: Janis Dennis; 2 Brothers: Merle & John Long. In lieu of 
flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the Lookeba 
United Methodist Church or The Center of Family Love in Okarche, Oklahoma. 
Services: Lookeba Methodist Church, 10:00 AM, Tuesday, Lookeba, OK. 
Officiating: Rev. Nancy L. Adler & Rev. John Gable. Burial: Lookeba 
Cemetery, Lookeba, OK. Under direction of HintonTurner Funeral Home, 
Hinton, Oklahoma.
