Paul Morgan

SHAMROCK - Paul Morgan, 86, died Monday, April 27, 1998.

Services will be at 10 a.m. today in First Baptist Church Chapel with the 
Rev. Joe G. Jernigan, pastor of Calvary Christian Fellowship Church, 
officiating. Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. in Memorial Park 
Cemetery in Amarillo by Wright Funeral Directors.

Mr. Morgan was born in Eakly, Okla. He moved to Shamrock in 1920 from 
Eakly. He graduated from Shamrock High School in 1929.

He farmed and ranched for many years. He then began working in the oil and 
gas business. He worked for Field's Oil Co. before retiring. He was a 
member of the Odd Fellows in Shamrock.

Survivors include a daughter, Paula Blair of Arlington; two sisters, Lee 
Cripe of Torrance, Calif., and Elsie Pennington of Magnolia; and a 
granddaughter.

The family requests memorials be to Shamrock Cemetery Association, P.O. 
Box 221, Shamrock, Texas 79079.
